MEET THE PRINCIPAL
Carl R. Kelemen
RLA, FASLA, Principal
Carl is the firm’s owner and Principal Landscape Architect. He is a Registered Licensed Landscape Architect in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.
In his 40-year plus career, Carl’s diverse experience has included: site planning; landscape, grading, planting, irrigation system, site and landscape lighting design for governmental, commercial, residential and non-profit clients. He has prepared award-winning park and recreation master plans and construction documents, trail plans, and residential designs. He worked in the design-build world for over 8 years, gaining valuable hands-on construction experience.
During the late 1970’s and early 1980’s, he taught landscape design/build courses to homeowners in lifelong learning environments at community college evening programs. He has also been a featured speaker to civic groups and at professional seminars. He has taught landscape architecture courses at several Philadelphia area colleges and universities. He serves on the advisory board and teaches in Jefferson University’s College of Architecture and the Built Environment.
Carl is also an experienced expert witness, having provided support to clients in landscape architectural related cases in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Maryland, and South Carolina.
